Rigidizer is a colloidal silica compound for treating surfaces of ceramic fibre products to provide a degree of surface hardness and resistance to erosion. It can extend the usage life of the refractory materials.

Rigidizer can use surface spraying or besmear to finish construction, freezing should be avoided.
