Chrome corundum brick is a high-performance refractory material with alumina (Al₂O₃) as the main component and chromium oxide (Cr₂O₃) as the key additive. It is manufactured through high-pressure forming and high-temperature firing, combining the advantages of corundum and chromium-containing refractories.
Excellent high-temperature strength and structural stability.
Outstanding corrosion resistance to molten slag, molten glass, and metal melts.
Good thermal shock resistance, with low tendency for cracking or spalling.
High wear resistance and long service life.
Low porosity and good impermeability.
This product exhibits strong resistance to alkali, sulfur, and vanadium corrosion. It is widely used in hot metal pretreatment equipment, back linings of pressurized coal-water slurry gasifiers, and as checker bricks and bar bricks in regenerators of glass furnaces fired with petroleum coke powder, particularly in hazardous waste treatment and high-temperature industrial applications.
